The firm

We build for the Global South and other emerging markets, where a field officer with an intermittent signal and a low-end device is a normal condition to design for, not an edge case.

How we build

Correctness as a policy commitment.

Four things that stay true across every engagement, regardless of the institution or the system.

01

Correctness as policy

These are systems a state depends on. When one goes down, a citizen can't renew a document, a hospital can't verify a patient, a treasury can't reconcile a payment. We treat availability and correctness as policy commitments, not engineering nice-to-haves.

02

Boring technology, on purpose

We choose boring, durable technology on purpose, because an institution's own engineers will run the system for a long time after we're gone.

03

Failure modes before polish

Anything that touches money or identity gets failure-mode work before it gets polish.

04

Ownership, with an exit

We hand over code the institution owns outright, with a supported path to migrate off.

Have a system in mind?

Tell us the constraint you are designing around. We will tell you what we would build and what we would not.
